The Boston Celtics lost Game 4 of the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors on Friday night. With a chance to go up 3-1 in the series, the C’s couldn’t hit a shot when it counted, while Steph Curry cemented his name in the history books on the other end.

Curry had perhaps his best Finals game of all time, finishing with 43 points, ten rebounds, and four assists in 41 minutes. He made 14 of his 26 attempts and seven of his 14 3-pointers in the Warriors’ 107-97 victory.

The game was closer than the score indicates, with Golden State being up just three with a smidge over a minute to go. Late game execution will be a hot topic going into Game 5, with Boston reverting back into their old ways.

Most of Steph’s shots were heavily contested — he simply decided to be the best player on the court on the night. With the current state of the Warriors, he’s almost playing one-on-five out there, with his aging co-stars, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, failing to positively impact the series.

With that being said, the Boston Celtics had every opportunity to win this game. Their defense was good enough for the most part, but, on offense, they just missed a few too many shots at the rim, leading to easy looks on the other end.

Boston has the task of stealing Game 5 on the road — something they’ve already done these playoffs. However, Golden State and Steph Curry are a different beast than the Miami Heat.

Many have counted out this team before. Every time, they’ve answered the call, and in difficult situations both against Milwaukee and the Heat.

Hopefully they can do it one more time but, in the meantime, let’s recap Friday’s bout by pinpointing the good, the bad, and the ugly from the exhibition:
