The Boston Celtics managed to string together a historic second-half run that saw them compile a stellar 31-10 record over the final 41 games played during the regular season, winning three incredibly impressive playoff series against the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Miami Heat and, punch their ticket to the NBA Finals for the first time in over a decade.

Now, if someone were to have told you that this would be where the C’s wound up just a few months back, you would have called them crazy.

Fast forward a bit, and just look at where we are!

Of course, while all this is certainly an incredible feat and a pristine example of just how good this Celtics team can be when they’re locked in and fully intact, ultimately, the main goal for this ball club is to win four more games and, in turn, hoist banner No. 18 up into the rafters back at TD Garden.

Is this a realistic goal that they can achieve? Absolutely–after the way they came back from being submerged under .500 and slotted outside the playoff picture by the midway point of the regular season, only to attain the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, this team certainly cannot be counted out.

Having said that, their opponents, the Golden State Warriors, won’t make accomplishing said goal easy for them, as they have an unbelievable amount of firepower and are unequivocally the more battle-tested squad, as their main core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have already won three championships together and, at some point down the road, will be donning those illustrious, Hall of Fame gold jackets.

In order for the Boston Celtics to have a chance at pulling away victorious from this championship round, Ime Udoka’s going to need more players other than Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to step up and, in this best-of-seven series, we at HH believe we could even see 2 members of the rotation taking on bigger roles along the way:
