Boston Celtics player No. 2) Grant Williams

Unlike Derrick White, Grant Williams was an absolute dud of a performer Friday night and, quite frankly, has consistently been over these last three contests.

Despite seeing 25.6 minutes of action over this stretch, the big man finds himself putting up truly underwhelming averages of 4.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.7 fouls on just 20 percent shooting from the floor and 22 percent shooting from deep over this stretch.

And, while the Boston Celtics are 2-1 during these games, this is certainly not something that can continue on into a pivotal win or go home Game 7.

Easily their most reliable shooter and most oft utilized bench contributor, an off-night for Williams has proven to have major negative effects on this C’s team, both throughout the year and during this postseason run.

On the flip side, when he’s firing on all cylinders, Boston is all the more ferocious and, in the playoffs thus far, when we’ve seen him scoring at least eight points on a minimum of 40 percent shooting from downtown, they’ve gone 5-2 whilst beating out their opponents by an average point differential of 17.4.

If he can snap out of this funk and tap back into the efficient baller that’s made him a household name amongst C’s fans, in all likelihood, Miami will be heading to Cancun by Monday.

In Game 7, the Dark Knight must rise again!
