Boston Celtics: 1 stud and 1 dud from C’s blowout Game 4 win over Heat

Boston Celtics dud: Graant Williams
The Boston Celtics won and won big in Game 4 so it’s highly likely that many of you may not have realized it, but Grant Williams had himself quite an underwhelming performance.
Dating back to Game 3 of their second-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks, the third-year forward has only really had three games where he’s looked like his regular-season self, and Monday was certainly not one of those occasions.
Despite seeing the second-most minutes on the night at 36:31, the C’s sharpshooter fell flat when it came to the usual antics that has made him a household name amongst the fan base.
Again, being that Boston still wound up blowing out the Heat one might not view this as such a big deal, but Williams finished the night with a mere seven points whilst shooting a lowly 1-of-8 from the field and 1-of-5 from long range.
Considering the fact that he’s easily the team’s most relied upon 3-point marksman, his struggles from distance have proven to be a real problem at times during this year’s playoff run and, though they were able to overcome his shortcomings in Game 4, it was absolutely not a sight we enjoyed seeing from such a highly utilized commodity.
Hopefully moving forward, he can tap back into his career-year self. The C’s are going to need him!
