Breathe, Boston Celtics fans. Game 7 is here, and it’s not an unfamiliar territory (hello bubble Raptors), even against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Four years ago, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Al Horford, and Daniel Theis all knocked out a Bucks squad that was still three years away from being a championship-level franchise.

Could the same happen in 2022? Well, it all depends on the Cs superstars. Game 5 notwithstanding, there’s been a direct correlation between Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown’s performances and the team winning. Unless both ‘Jays’ are hitting 20 points, a loss is likely coming. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been too dominant a force throughout the entire series for there to be anything less than a star showing from those with that label bestowed upon them.

With everything on the line, do the Cs end up living to see another day–and an Eastern Conference finals rematch with the Miami Heat–or is the ‘Greek Freak’ penning the chapters of his legacy at Boston’s expense?

Hardwood Houdini has your odds and lays a prediction for the ABC-televised Eastern Conference postseason tilt:

Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks odds, spread, over/under

According to WynnBet, the Celtics are a 5-point favorite against the Bucks at home. Milwaukee is a +180 road underdog, with the Cs moneyline set at -210. The over/under for the game has been placed at 207 points.

Celtics vs. Bucks prediction

Two games ago, the Houdini sent into the universe the energy that the Cs would win Game 5 and Game 6 and that prediction was ripped away by a late-game rough stretch from Marcus Smart on the offensive end, coupled with a lack of rebounding on a Giannis Antetokounmpo free-throw with 12 seconds that resulted in a Bobby Portis go-ahead bucket.

If you read our Game 6 prediction, you know our motto: sugar we’re goin’ down swingin’.

The Cs aren’t going down yet. Lay the five. Milwaukee’s time is up, and Boston’s time is now. Bring on the Heat.

Pick: Celtics -5 (-108)
