2. LeBron James

LeBron James ever setting foot inside the T.D. Garden home locker-room would be akin to Thanos joining the Avengers. The ‘king’ is meant to have an oppositional force that will always meet him at the summit, and the Cs represent the last team James even views that way.

The Golden State Warriors, always thought to be James’ mortal enemies, are a team James may have interest in this offseason. This is what LeBron had to say when asked what superstars he’d like to play with:

"In today’s game — Steph Curry. Steph Curry is the one I want to play with for sure in today’s game…I love everything about that guy. Lethal. When Steph gets out of his car, you better guard him from the moment he pulls up to the arena. As soon as he gets out of his car, you better guard him. You might want to guard him when he gets out of bed. Swear to god."

It’s possible that James never ends up in a Warriors uniform, but the fact that he is talking about even teaming up with Steph Curry means any bad blood from their epic NBA Finals series’ from 2015-18 is water under the bridge.

It’ll be a cold day in hell before James ever talks about the Cs this way.
