The Boston Celtics face a do-or-die Game 6 at the Fiserv Forum Friday night against the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference semifinals series. There’s plenty on the line, including damage control for the narrative that the Cs still aren’t good enough to contend in the Eastern Conference.
Celtics fans are breathing a sigh of relief, though, because Scott Foster will be one of the officials for the win-or-go-home battle against the Bucks.
Foster has earned a reputation for consistently aiming to be the primary headline-grabber from games he refs in order to up the entertainment value at the expense of the integrity of the said contest. Luckily, that could work to Boston’s advantage as they rally to force a Game 7 at the T.D. Garden on Sunday afternoon.
Boston Celtics fans were in agreement that this was the best outcome possible from the NBA’s Game 6 officiating crew announcement:

The Boston Celtics will need to make adjustments in the offseason if they can’t beat the Bucks
Without Khris Middleton, Milwaukee is on the verge of sending a Cs team home packing. It’d be beyond disappointing after watching this squad seemingly figure things out once the calendar flipped to 2022.
Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens has worked hard on building this roster into what it is, but he still has work to do if he can’t get past one of the pillars in the Eastern Conference in the postseason.
