The Boston Celtics came into this year’s postseason with legitimate aspirations of contending for an NBA title and, after just four games played, it seems as though their odds of achieving such a goal have only managed to improve.

Monday night, the C’s wrapped up their first-round series against the Brooklyn Nets in a sweep fashion, thus exacting revenge against the same team that send them packing early on in last year’s Quarterfinals.

Now, all Boston can do is wait patiently for their second-round matchup to begin, with their opponent either being the Milwaukee Bucks or the Chicago Bulls (it will most likely be Milwaukee).

Because of all this free time, however, fans and media pundits feel the need to fill the void between now and Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals by coming up with hypothetical-based scenarios that could wind up happening at some point down the road, with topics ranging from rather simple playoff outcomes to complex offseason activities.

With this, it inspired us at the Houdini to push out yet another installment of our favorite series we like to call “Pass or Pursue”, where we take proposed ideas pertaining to the franchise and discuss whether the C’s should avoid having them become a reality or if they should actively try to make them happen.

So, without further ado, let’s get started:
