Boston Celtics key to Victory No. 3) Batman & Robin

While Grant Williams and Payton Pritchard’s nicknames are not officially Batman and Robin, consider this my suggestion.

Game 2 served as a peak night for this dynamic duo off the bench.

As mentioned previously, PP finished with ten points, eight of which were in the final twelve minutes of action. The former Oregon Duck star was also a team-high +15 in the victory.

Grant Williams posted what may have been the best game of his young career, as he was quite literally perfect from the floor. The former first-round pick knocked down all four of his field goals, was 3-for-3 from deep, and a perfect 6-for-6 at the charity stripe, which all led up to a 17-point performance.

This duo is crucial to a road win. They can take the pressure off of the stars and score in bunches to outpace Brooklyn’s bench. Goran Dragic was solid for the Nets, but Pritchard and Grant were even better.

As seen in Game 2, when this duo is on, the C’s play like a well-oiled machine.

Look for another big night from the pair on Saturday, as it could very well lead to a commanding 3-0 series lead.
