Boston Celtics trade target from Charlotte Hornets: Terry Rozier

‘Scary Terry’ would be a most welcomed sight should he ever return back to the home locker-room at the T.D. Garden. From security to maintenance to the fans, Terry Rozier would have 100 Legends Way going crazy at the sight of his return.

The feeling appears to be mutual. When Rozier’s Hornets beat the Cs back in January, he had nothing but good things to say about the organization afterwards:

"“To beat a team like Boston — I’m pretty sure I can speak for a lot of people — it feels good. It’s a winning program, a team with a lot of great players, plays hard to the end."

Rozier’s greatest postseason moments came in a Cs uniform dominating Eric ‘Drew’ Bledsoe and filling in capably for Kyrie Irving during the 2018 postseason. They certainly haven’t come in Hornets digs.

Charlotte has never made the postseason since Rozier signed on in 2019. In fact, you’d have to date back to 2016 for the last time they did.

Rozier’s presence on the roster is ultimately one that doesn’t mesh with LaMelo Ball no matter how often the Hornets make them share the court together. If Charlotte moves towards a rebuild in any way, shape, or form, Rozier must be a target.
