Boston Celtics vs. Memphis Grizzlies prediction, odds, TV channel
It’s been a long journey, Boston Celtics fans. Finishing the season as high as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference is somehow on the table after one of the least promising starts a win-now team had this season.
Unlike their historical rival, the Los Angeles Lakers, the ship was righted and now the Cs enter the postseason as someone that no team wants to face.
Tonight, Boston takes on the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedEx Forum with a chance to sew up the No. 3 seed with a win, and even the No. 2 seed if the Milwaukee Bucks can’t hold off the Cleveland Cavaliers. A loss coupled with a Philadelphia 76ers win would knock them down to the No. 4 seed. That wouldn’t be ideal considering the Toronto Raptors sit in the No. 5 slot, and visiting Canada could potentially mean some unvaccinated Celtics won’t be eligible to play.
Memphis comes off a massive 141-114 drubbing of the New Orleans Pelicans last night where Ja Morant was on the floor and the lineup was buzzing at full strength. It isn’t likely Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins will be having his core group play two nights in a row, though.
With that in mind, the Houdini has the final prediction of the regular season on a night the Cs will have plenty more at stake than their opponents:
Boston Celtics vs. Memphis Grizzlies odds, spread, over/under
According to WynnBet, the Celtics are a 5.5-point favorite against the Grizzlies on the road. Memphis is a home underdog at +180, with the Cs moneyline set at -220. The over/under for the game has been placed at 227.5 points.

Celtics vs. Grizzlies prediction
It definitely feels as though the Cs are set to take the Eastern Conference’s No. 2 seed with the Milwaukee Bucks resting most of their starters against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
I like Boston winning this, but the Houdini is hesitant to lay the 5.5 points. We’ll take the under on the final regular season matchup considering Memphis ran up the score with their reserves last night and could face fatigue tonight as they themselves look to rest up before the postseason.
