Thursday night, the Boston Celtics saw themselves squaring off against the defending champion, Milwaukee Bucks, without the help of three core players in Robert Williams III (knee), Al Horford (back), and, most notably, Jayson Tatum (knee).

Now, while most teams would have likely folded without more than half of their starters in tow, time and time again throughout the year this C’s team has shown that they are not like most teams.

Early on it looked as though the Bucks were en route to easily come away with a ‘W’, seeing a double-digit lead on several occasions during the first half. However, the shamrocks showcased their grit, grind, and overall tenacity late in the second and onward which, ultimately, turned their early deficit into a late lead with about six minutes left to play in regulation.

In the end, Milwaukee and their near full-health squad turned out to be just a bit too much for the M.A.S.H unit that was the visiting Celtics, as they managed to pull out the late-game victory with a final score reading 127-121.

As we stated, Boston found themselves down three of their most trusty contributors in this Thursday night matchup which, in turn, forced Ime Udoka to tinker with the rotation considerably to make up for the team’s absentees.

As a result, we saw nine players log double-digit minutes, six of whom went on to score in double-digit figures, and, as a collective, the team actually went on to have one of their best shooting performances of the season, converting on 42 percent of their astounding 50 attempts from 3-point range.

While we saw star wing, Jaylen Brown, leading the way in essentially all categories, notching a triple-double of 22 points, 11 assists, and 10 boards to go along with one steal and one block, there were, in fact, a few other players who went on to have stellar nights for the Boston Celtics.

That said, being the team’s efforts wound up ending in defeat, it’s safe to say that there were also a few individuals in the lineup that didn’t wind up producing up to their potential as well.

With this in mind, we at HH would like to pinpoint 1 stud and 1 dud from the C’s tough loss to Milwaukee:
