Boston Celtics stud No. 1) Jaylen Brown

Ok, so while some would argue that, due to his title of franchise building block, it’s hard to constitute Jaylen Brown as being an “unsung stud” for, after all, everyone expects him to produce like one of, if not the best player for the Boston Celtics on any given night.

That said, while we, too, don’t like to list any of the Jays in this type of category due to this very reasoning, the wing’s performance against the Bulls was simply just too special for us to not place the moniker of stud upon him.

Sharing the floor with a bevy of multi-time All-Stars such as DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, and his very own teammate, Jayson Tatum, Brown proved to reign supreme above all of them with his play on the evening.

Logging nearly 35 minutes, the 25-year-old stuffed the stat sheet in a massive way, as he went on to lead all scorers with 25 points to go along with seven rebounds, four assists, four steals, and a block on a highly efficient 47.6 percent shooting from the floor and 50 percent shooting from deep.

Obviously Brown’s defensive talents and potential of being a high-end scorer have both been evident since he first entered the league back in 2016, but his improvements as a facilitator and ball-handler are rather new additions to his game, and both were on full display Wednesday night.

From his drive-and-kicks where he kept his head up to find open teammates to his yo-yo handles and tremendous footwork that saw him get into some high-end scoring opportunities, it’s progressions such as these that will continue to thrust Jaylen Brown’s name into the All-NBA come the conclusion of the regular season.
