2 frontcourt players the Boston Celtics could sign for the postseason

Even with the hardships that they’ve had to face during these past couple of weeks, with the unfortunate injury to Robert Williams III being their top tragedy to date, the Boston Celtics have managed to continue their stay on the fast track up the Eastern Conference standings during these late stages of the 2021-22 regular season.

Since the calendar page flipped to January, the shamrocks have been on an absolute rampage, going 32-11 during this stretch, and, though they may have seemed a bit lethargic in the days directly after Time Lord’s knee injury, most recently they’ve managed to rattle off two consecutive wins in back-to-back games, with their latest triumph seeing a 144-102 drubbing over the Washington Wizards.

Now, although the team has been playing a great overall brand of basketball during their incredible second-half stretch and appear to be slated to finish off the year with at least a top-5 seed in the conference standings, due to the fact that they’re now down a key member of their core foundation heading into the playoffs, the front office should be interested in the idea of bringing on some extra talents to help fill out the remainder of their roster.

With the absence of Williams, many are under the impression that if Brad Stevens were to be interested in signing some free agents, they should be looking to bring on talents that could help bolster their frontcourt rotation.
