Boston Celtics target No. 2) Jordan Bell

Jordan Bell had high promise coming out of Oregon back in 2017 and became a rotational piece on the NBA champion Golden State Warriors, and found himself grasping at straws just to stay on a roster in a matter of two years.

This would be quite a risky signing on the part of the Boston Celtics should they pick up the 27-year-old center.

The risk may be worth the reward, however, for, while you do not know what you may get with a guy that has not been a consistent fixture on an NBA roster since the 2019-20 NBA season, the all-around skillset is enamoring.

Career stats of 3.7 points and 3.1 rebounds per game on 52 percent shooting from the floor do not raise eyebrows, but the man has the defensive versatility to guard up to three positions incredibly well.

His 6-8 size frame for a center may be a drawback for Celtics fans, but he still plays well above his height in terms of hustle, tenacity, length, and physicality.

It also helps that the youngin has 32 games of playoff experience and championship experience under his belt. He was drafted for his ability to defend at a high level and could be a player that can be used in spurts when Theis is in foul trouble or if Al Horford needs rest.

Right now, he’s tearing up the G-league with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants for, in 20 games of play, he is averaging 12.8 points, 10.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists,1.8 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game.

A real stat sheet stuffer supreme on the basketball court.

This level of overall impact mirrors Rob somewhat. The big man is also knocking down his 3-point attempts at a 47 percent clip and shooting 61 percent overall from the floor.

The level of work that Bell is putting in to improve his game in all facets is commendable and maybe Boston sees it too.
