Boston Celtics key to victory No. 2) Play through Al Horford
The glue of the 2021-22 Celtics in many ways, Al Horford is well rested after missing the past two games due to personal reasons. We here at HH hope everything is well with Al, and are glad to see him not on the injury report.
Horford could come in clutch on both ends of the floor if Boston wants the win on Wednesday. Focusing on his offense, Al could be used to pull Bam out of the paint and allow JT and JB more room to work and play downhill.
Horford’s ability to stretch and space the floor is going to be big against the Heat. The shamrocks should look to get him the ball early and often on offense to help the game flow.
Defensively, the 35-year-old will have a tough task ahead in Bam. With some help from Grant, Tatum, and Theis, it’s a challenge the stingy vet can handle.
As mentioned in the previous key, the Celtics have played the Heat well this season in both meetings. If Grant Williams steps into the starting five to replace Williams III, he should compliment Big AL nicely.
The two bring above-average shooting from the four and five to the table and could be a big part of securing a W.
