Boston Celtics killer No. 4) Ayo Dosunmu

The Chicago Bulls rookie, Ayo Dosunmu, seemed to have his NBA coming out party against the Boston Celtics on November 1st with 14 points on a perfect six for six shooting night en route to the Bulls comeback victory.

The 22-year-old combo guard was not done there, for in their second meeting in January he went for 21 points on 90 percent shooting while adding 10 assists and four boards on what was a career night for the young pro.

In just two meetings vs the Boston Celtics, Dosunmu has been electric averaging, 17.5 points, six assists, and four rebounds per contest on an otherworldly 93 percent shooting from the field and a perfect 100 percent shooting from deep.

The definition of a killer against Beantown, hang up the wanted posters and be on high alert.

An interesting fact to note is that in both meetings, Dosunmu came off the bench and this did not impede his stellar performance.

Chicago found their future sixth man and it started at Boston’s expense.

To put this into a higher perspective, the Chicago Bulls guard is averaging 8.2 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.9 rebounds per game on 52 percent shooting from the field and 41 percent shooting from the great beyond.

Another case of some player more than doubling his scoring average against the C’s–an unfathomable trend.

Ayo Dosunmu is seeing a rise in minutes lately, serving as the interim starting point guard for the Bulls in Lonzo Ball’s extended absence due to injury. One has to think confidence was found in the rookie from the Bulls brass after seeing his pair of electric outings against the Celtics.
