The Boston Celtics may have found themselves stumbling a bit over their last three outings, dropping two and winning one that was unnecessarily close, but they managed to once again find their footing Tuesday night in a home tilt against the Atlanta Hawks.

Early on in the contest, it appeared as though they’d be enduring a similar fate to the one they did Sunday against the Indiana Pacers, as the C’s once again couldn’t seem to stop the opposition from cashing in on their jumpers, no matter how little the amount of air space they gave up, while simultaneously failing to convert on their own.

By the mid-way mark, Boston found themselves trailing by 14 points, with the halftime score reading 65-51.

As time went on, however, the shots seemed to stop dropping for Atlanta and started falling for the shamrocks, and, ultimately, they turned their double-digit deficit into a nine-point win, beating the visiting team by a final score of 107-98.

Leading the charge for Boston was Jayson Tatum, who nearly notched a triple-double as he put up a stellar stat-line of 33 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists on 48 percent shooting from the floor.

Sadly, the other half of the Jay-squad in Jaylen Brown went down early in the first quarter as he twisted his ankle on a drive to the rim, resulting in him heading back to the locker room (luckily under his own volition) to be further examined which went on to confirm that he sustained a sprained ankle and would miss the remainder of the contest.

Thankfully, many of his teammates went on to step up in his absence, and, in turn, they managed to come away with win No. 37 on the year.

With this in mind, today we at HH discuss 1 stud and 1 dud from Boston’s valiant victory over the Atlanta Hawks:
