Buyout situation Boston Celtics must monitor No. 3) Gary Harris

As we discussed earlier, due to the fact that the Boston Celtics lost Josh Richardson at this year’s trade deadline, the front office very likely will be looking to fill their remaining roster spots with players who can help space the floor, which is why we listed Tomas Satoransky as being a name worth monitoring moving forward.

However, something the C’s also lost when J-Rich went to San Antonio was defensive chops at the wing position.

Because of this, we believe a player that could easily help serve as a solid replacement for Boston in the 3-and-D department would be Orlando Magic two-guard, Gary Harris.

An aging veteran on a team looking to embark on a full-fledged youth movement, especially within their backcourt, the 27-year-old could wind up finding himself parting ways with the organization via buyout in the near future and, should this happen, the shamrocks should unequivocally look to snatch him up.

While he may have dealt with various injuries over the last few years, 2021-22 has actually managed to be somewhat of a rejuvenation year for the veteran baller.

Through 52 games played on the season, Harris finds himself posting solid averages of 11.4 points and 2.1 rebounds per game on 38 percent shooting.

Though at the moment it would appear as though Orlando seems content with keeping the wing in tow moving forward, should things change, and Harris finds himself available, by all means, Stevens should come running to snag the trusty two-way talent.

Next. 3 C's that must have a strong second-half of season. dark
