Boston Celtics takeaway No. 2) Tatum and Brown Coexisting?

We have only seen it a handful of times all season, but Tuesday was yet another example of Tatum and Brown each having exceptional and standout performances.

The duo combined for 66 points, and Boston Celtics fans will take that any night on the TD Garden floor.

There’s some delicious whip cream on a shamrock shake of a game for you.

Jayson continued his hot shooting streak as he was dialed in whilst scoring his swift 36 points. The wing shot 14-23 overall including seven made treys.

Also, let’s not forget he dazzled the crowd with his ability to read the offense and make plays for others with six assists.

Alongside with this, Jaylen was not to be forgotten in the shadows of his star counterpart, as he dropped a monster 30 point,10 rebound double-double.

He threw in five triples of his own and dished out three dimes including some really fancy bounce-pass dimes.

The reality is, despite their amazing individual performances on the surface, the eye test also showed us that they shined as a collective.

The Boston Celtics have two guys on this current team that are capable of putting on all-world performances. If they click consistently together, then the Eastern Conference may be in trouble.

Let’s hope it is not an aberration.

Defensively, Brown and Tatum bought in as well and it was a consistent start-to-finish effort, whether it be due to them hustling back down the floor after a made basket or locking in defensively on the perimeter.

Another notable highlight, the duo combined for only two turnovers.

There were no lazy passes or over-dribbling leading to an advantage for the Kings.
