Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer revealed three teams as Dennis Schroder landing spots at the trade deadline the Boston Celtics could explore as trade partners.

The Houdini came up with a mock deal this morning that would see Schroder head to the Big Apple and has explored a deal to get him to ‘The Land’ in the past as well.

But NBA Analysis Network took a stab at a mock deal, and the return for Boston would seem to indicate that N.A.N’s Brett Siegel foresees the Cs being sellers at the upcoming February 10th trade deadline.

This is what he came up with:

"Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: G Dennis SchroderBoston Celtics Receive: G Kevin Pangos, F Dylan Windler, SAS 2022 2nd Round Pick (via CLE)"

For those looking at this deal feeling underwhelmed, that’s a fair feeling. Kevin Pangos is an unproven rookie that has experienced shooting woes in the early going of the 2021-22 season. Dylan Windler, on the other hand, is a late first-round pick from 2019 that has still yet to break into the rotation on a consistent basis.

I’m not sure many bat an eye about a future draft pick even in the second round, since Schroder’s value is far too low to receive just a first-round pick. Besides, most contenders don’t even have an extra first-round pick to use for Schroder, likely saving it for something larger in the next few weeks or in the offseason.

All of that said, this may be one of the best deals out there for Boston Celtics President of Basketball Operations in the next few weeks if he simply wants to see what he could get for the German floor general as a standalone asset.

He’ll need to get creative with multi-team scenarios in order to extract the most value possible for Schroder’s expiring deal…which is one that doesn’t even include his bird rights.
