The Houdini isn’t yet sold on the Boston Celtics winning a key road matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers tonight.

Nope. Sorry.

The last three wins weren’t overly impressive in the grand scheme of things, with the Indiana Pacers being an open dumpster fire this season, looking to trade several key pieces. It’s not a good look to your roster when they’re all rumored to be on the trade block.

As for their win against the New York Knicks at home, it was impressive. The dominance was thorough and the fanbase would have imploded had they lost both Knicks matchups after the fashion in which they lost the first at MSG.

That said, NY just traded a first-round pick yesterday to improve their roster in the wake of a start that would have them out of the postseason entirely if the season ended today. NBA Play-in and all.

So, the Cs are not exactly to be trusted. That doesn’t mean they can’t prove the Houdini wrong, though.

We’ll save our prediction for later, but as we do, the Houdini is also here to dish out some odds and TV channel info for tonight’s matchup:

Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers odds, spread, over/under

According to WynnBet, the Celtics are a 2.5-point underdogs against the Sixers on the road. Philly is a -145 favorite at home, with the Cs moneyline set at +120. The over/under for the game has been placed at 211.5 points.

This one will be broadcast locally on NBC Sports Boston and NBC Sports Philadelphia. You could also catch the action on NBA League Pass.

Celtics vs. 76ers prediction

In the face of not being confident enough in the Cs winning, the Houdini could certainly see a heartbreakingly close loss to the Sixers.

That’s just the way things tend to go down with this Celtics team. I’ll take the 2.5 points the Sixers are laying.

Pick: Celtics +2.5 (-110)
