Boston Celtics stud: Robert Williams III

Listing anyone other than Robert Williams as stud of the game would simply be an absolute travesty — he was that impressive.

While he may have found himself getting off to an undesirable start on the night what with being called for a defensive 3-second violation at the 11:20 mark of period one, Time Lord quickly turned things around as the game continued on.

After his first-minute blunder, the big man proved to be an absolute unit on both sides of the ball, putting forth a stellar all-around effort on the defensive end of the court while flushing home put-back after put-back.

Despite having zero to no plays called his way when on offense, Williams still ended up finishing the night with the third-most point tallied on his team and the fourth-most on the night overall with a total of 14 on 80 percent shooting from the floor to go along with 12 boards, four steals, and three blocks.

From his skills that were laid out on the floor to his acts of verbal leadership when directing and positioning his teammates to get into the proper sets, the center’s presence was felt all over the place against the Pacers and even went on to put the final nail in the coffin on the game when he intercepted Indy’s last-second half-court heave.

Monday was a night to remember for Robert Williams as he continues to improve with every passing game.
