Boston Celtics Christmas delight No. 2) Outscore Milwaukee in the second half

For a large portion of this season, a major problem the Boston Celtics have faced has been an inability to have two equally successful halves.

Throughout their 31 games played, the shamrocks have seemingly struggled to stay consistent throughout a contest — either they find themselves starting a game off slow and finishing hot or, what’s been most common, they come out of the gates swinging and, come the second half, they wind up running out of gas and being outworked by the opposition.

Looking at their overall campaign thus far, more than half of their games have seen second-half blunders, as they’ve been outscored in nearly 60 percent of their games during the third and fourth quarters combined and, of the games that they’ve managed to outscore their opponent, only five of these teams find themselves boasting a record above .500.

Against the likes of the Milwaukee Bucks, in order to come away from an exhibition victorious a team will have to be capable of executing at a high level through all four quarters of regulation and, while the Boston Celtics have managed to scrape out two wins against the ball club already this season they are by no means an exception to this rule.

They’ll need to start strong and finish strong if they wish to come away from Christmas day with a W.
