According to recent rumblings, the Boston Celtics are interested in pursuing a third star to bring on via trade this year to have run alongside the likes of Jayson Tatum & Jaylen Brown and, from the looks of things, fans of the franchise are absolutely enthralled by this idea.
In the modern-day NBA, star power is perhaps the most important thing a team can possess and, the more of it they have at the ready, the better their chances of contending are.
While the Cs certainly have a nice collection of their own, obviously it’s not enough for them to get to where they ultimately wish to be, for they currently find themselves boasting a sub-.500 record of 13-14 which, in turn, has them slotted into the 10th seed out in the Eastern Conference standings.
Because of this, it is the belief of many that Brad Stevens and co. should be scouring the trade market between now and February’s deadline to try and snag some more high-end talents to better bolster the team’s roster and, with the news that the front office is interested in pursuing legitimate star-quality players, Boston Celtics fans have been quite vocal about who they wish to see being targeted.
Recently, we took to Twitter to ask what players, in specific, the shamrocks faithful would like to see being pursued, and here are just a few of the more popular responses we received:

While we did see some familiar super-star faces being mentioned such as Damian Lillard and Karl-Anthony Towns, the more popular responses from the fanbase seemed to be concerning guys like Domantas Sabonis and Dejounte Murray, two players we at HH have personally been talking about for quite some time now and will continue to do so until they are no longer available.
Once again, we see the Boston Celtics holding the power in their hands to make some serious splashes during this year’s trade season and fans are once again excited to see what happens.
Let’s just hope that all this hype isn’t followed up with a serious dud for the season year in a row.
