Boston Celtics to be thankful for No. 4) Al Horford

Veteran big man Al Horford is both a past and present favorite amongst Boston Celtics fans, and they should always be thankful for him.

After three solid seasons manning the interior for the team on both ends of the floor, back in the summer of 2019 Al Horford, unfortunately, moved on from a crumbling team atmosphere and opted to sign a lucrative contract with their bitter rival in the Philadelphia 76ers.

While fans may have been salty at the time of the move, his return back to Eastern Massachussetts this past offseason has shown just how much the organization missed him.

Not only is the 35-year-old an important player on the court, but he’s also an incredible veteran presence and mentor for the young players found on the roster.

He’s always provided consistent leadership, two-way ability, and hard work that have always made him a winning player, especially when playing for the Celtics.

Horford embodies what it means to be a member of the Boston Celtics, and is a player that C’s fans should always cherish and be thankful for, despite only playing on the team for a few years.
