Boston Celtics dud: Aaron Nesmith

As many of you likely already know, we at HH truly want nothing more than to see the likes of Aaron Nesmith find some rhythm within his game this season.

For the most part, we believe the bulk of his inconsistencies this year can be tied to his lack of opportunities and minutes in Ime Udoka‘s rotation and, for a young player, instability such as this can have a negative effect on one’s confidence which, ultimately, can hinder their efficiency on the hardwood.

That said, at some point, the wing has to prove capable of capitalizing on his minutes, regardless of how many he receives, and, once again, Nesmith seriously underwhelmed.

In 10 minutes of action, the sophomore literally put up zeros across the board aside from the turnover category where he fumbled away two of them.

Appearing reluctant to even look for his own shot while also seemingly being allergic to providing competent defense on the night it was as if the game was a bit too much for the 22-year-old to handle.

Frankly, a switch needs to be flipped on Aaron Nesmith’s game soon, otherwise, we may start to lose hope in the youngster altogether.
