Though things still may not be perfect, the Boston Celtics have strung together two consecutive impressive victories in back-to-back nights as they downed the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday by a final score of 111-105.

With this victory, the team finds itself back to a .500 record which, though it may not be all that impressive on the surface, is certainly a step in the right direction considering how lackluster their production has been of late.

Despite a late-game scare that saw OKC cut it to within four within just a minute to play, for the most part, the shamrocks had sound control over this exhibition as they managed to end every quarter of play with the lead.

As one would expect, Jayson Tatum went and had himself a phenomenal outing, leading all scorers with 33 points while also filling up the rest of the stat sheet with eight rebounds, five assists, and a block on 50 percent shooting from both the floor and from 3-point range.

Now, while Saturday may have marked the second straight stellar outing for the C’s cornerstone, it also marked the second consecutive game where the supporting cast held their own which, unfortunately, is a rather big accomplishment this season.

By game’s end, there were several Celtics players who proved to be invaluable throughout their win against the Thunder.

Unfortunately, however, there were still some contributors who managed to drop a real goose egg during their time spent on the hardwood.
