After having their hot-streak halted Saturday night against this same Cleveland Cavaliers team, the Boston Celtics took care of business in this follow-up matchup, redeeming themselves with a rather impressive victory whilst on the road.

Though a close game throughout, with the Cs even losing the lead on quite a few occasions during their 48-minute bout, ultimately they were able to come ahead by the time the final buzzer sounded, holding on during the last minute of action with the game score reading 98-92.

Having his best all-around performance in a few games, Jayson Tatum finished the night off stuffing the stat sheet with 23 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and a steal.

While his shooting may have been off, converting on just 38 percent of his total attempts, the great ones always find a way to make a positive impact on their team, and he’s certainly on his way to reaching such a moniker.

That said, he wasn’t the only member of the Celtics who showed out Monday night.

Due to the ongoing absence of Jaylen Brown and an early-game injury to Robert Williams, head coach Ime Udoka had to get creative with his personnel decisions, experimenting with players that haven’t gotten all that many minutes on the season and, in turn, going 11-men deep with his rotation.

Of the bunch, there were plenty of guys who showed out during their time on the hardwood, with some even outperforming expectations.

On the flip side, unfortunately, there were also a few players who dropped the ball.

Today, we pinpoint one stud and one dud from Monday’s redemption win over the Cleveland Cavaliers:
