Boston Celtics fans can take one step back from the proverbial ledge today, as their favorite ball club actually did something rather impressive Thursday night — they beat a top-tier team.

After finding themselves dropping three straight games in a row earlier this week the shamrocks have now rattled off two back-to-back victories in back-to-back nights, as they took down the No. 1 seeded Miami Heat Thursday in South Beach.

It was indeed a sloppy affair for both parties involved, but Boston wound up coming out looking like the cleaner squad, leading the Heat by nearly 20 at game’s end with a final score reading 95-78.

Heading into the exhibition, fans and media alike knew that it would take a collective effort from the Cs to have a chance at coming away victorious against this surging Miami team, and a collective effort was exactly what we saw, as only one player who saw over 10 or more minutes received a negative box plus-minus rating while six different players ended up scoring in double figures.

First-year head coach, Ime Udoka, went deep down the bench for his rotation on the night, having nine different players log double-digit minutes, with several seeing their first extended time on the floor in quite a few outings.

Now, despite the numerous positive individual performances from Cs players during this game, as has been the case throughout the early stages of this year’s campaign there were a few who managed to drop the ball on the night.

Today, we at HH pinpoint one stud and one dud from Boston’s surprising victory over the Miami Heat:
