Boston Celtics stud: Al Horford

So far, Al Horford‘s return to the Boston Celtics has been quite a positive experience both for fans to watch and the team as a whole to take part in, and Monday’s outing, despite the loss, was yet another example how just how effectively the big man can impact the game.

From his defense and floor spacing prowess to his ability to jet up and down the court even with his advanced age, the 35-year-old’s attributes were on full display against Chicago as he helped the Cs in a myriad of ways.

In 33 minutes of action, the veteran big went on to post a stat-line of 20 points, 10 boards, three assists, one steal, and one block on 53 percent shooting from the floor and 43 percent shooting from deep.

His hustle played a major role in his selection as stud performer of the night, especially when it came to his efforts underneath the basket, battling for airborne balls and second chance possessions, while also coming away with two separate put-back scores.

Though he was far from perfect on the night, outside of their All-Star wings we believe that Horford was the C’s biggest impact performer.
