Boston Celtics stud: Robert Williams III

When choosing a stud performer from each of these first five outings, it has seemed as though Robert Williams III has found himself in strong consideration to be chosen for each one of them however, in the end, he has wound up getting beaten out by someone else.

Today, we believe there’s no question as to who deserves the spot from Wednesday’s performance, as the Time Lord was an all-around menace, and proved to be so from start to finish.

From his defensive tenacity both at the rim and even outside on the perimeter to his tough screen setting and rim-running proficiency, the center had his presence felt everywhere on the hardwood.

Finishing with just over 30 minutes on the night, Williams went on to put up 13 points, 11 rebounds (five of which were second-chance offensive grabs), one steal, and a whopping four blocks on 75 percent shooting from the floor.

Coming into 2021-22, many were already preparing to see a breakout season from the fourth-year big and his impressive performance against Washington was simply just a continuation of what’s essentially been the norm for him all year so far.
