October is in full swing and the regular season is now less than 20 days away for the Boston Celtics.

Tuesday marked the tip-off to preseason action of 2021-22 for the shamrocks as they managed to squeak by the Orlando Magic to the final tune of 98-97.

With three more games to go between now and their October 20th regular-season opener at Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks, rookie President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens and first-year head coach Ime Udoka will continue looking into ways in which they can position this roster to attain the most success that they possibly can.

To many, it is believed that this team as currently constructed could easily thrust themselves back into one of the top-5 seeds out in the Eastern Conference standings come year’s end, assuming the coaching staff puts together the proper rotation.

Others, however, are under the impression that there is still much more work that needs to be done in regard to improving this roster, and, being that the vast majority of higher-impact players have already been snatched up off the free agency market, the trade route could be a realistic way in which Stevens and co. can go about bringing aboard some more quality rotational pieces.

We can certainly understand each side of this conversation, however, should the Boston Celtics go the latter route and look to get off a deal prior to the start of the regular season, we believe that these 2 trades fall within the realm of possibility.
