Boston Celtics TPE target No. 4) Maxi Kleber

Next up we find Quinn discussing the idea of Dallas Mavericks big man, Maxi Kleber, being on the radar for the Boston Celtics heading into this season.

A player we’ve discussed as being a potential trade target for the franchise on quite a few occasions in the past, the soon-to-be fifth-year veteran has long been viewed as a nice hypothetical fit for this team both based on his specific position and skillset.

Though he may not be that highly-coveted superstar that all championship aspiring squads aim to target, the German-born baller could prove to be a nice addition to this Celtics rotation that, as we alluded to in the JaMychal Green slide, is still looking to for a legitimate power forward.

A big-bodied presence (6-10, 240-pounds) who can space the floor and play solid defense, this past season, the 29-year-old went on to post solid per-game averages of 7.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, and just shy of a block on 41 percent shooting from deep.

Alongside Al Horford in the frontcourt, the Boston Celtics would roll out quite a lengthy starting lineup that would be a real physical challenge for opposing teams when on defense while also having the necessary tools to run a five-out set when on offense.

The Cs could certainly use for an upgrade at the four and, should Kleber be available, he’d be a fine grab with the Thompson TPE.

Verdict: Pursue
