Tacko Fall leaves the Boston Celtics for the Cleveland Cavaliers

I think deep in every Boston Celtics fan’s heart, there was a soft spot for Tacko Fall and an accompanying fantasy that somehow through all of Brad Stevens’ wheeling and dealing, there would still be a spot for the seven-foot-five Senegalese super-giant.

Alas, there was not, and Fall has gone for pastures far less green than Boston: The Land. Cleveland currently sports a carousel of bigs that includes recent lottery pick Evan Mobley, $100 million man Jarrett Allen, freshly-signed Lauri Markkanen, Dean Wade, and former NBA Champion Kevin Love.

Where Fall fits in is anyone’s guess. Fall landing elsewhere didn’t seem unfathomable, but Tacko Tuesdays being in Cleveland did.

Tremont Waters and Semi Ojeleye join the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks

Typically, a team will win the NBA Championship and sign a slew of veterans at the tail end of their career searching for one last shot at glory, but the Milwaukee Bucks brought on just one (George Hill) while adding Rodney Hood, Semi Ojeleye, and Tremont Waters in free agency.

That trio is at different stages of their career, but they represent a stark contrast to the seasoned veteran hauls the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers brought on.

The defending champions didn’t seem like places either Waters or Ojeleye would end up.
