Dream TPE target for Boston Celtics No. 3) Collin Sexton

Yes, the guard rotation has certainly taken a step forward over the last several months what with the departure of Kemba Walker, the addition of Dennis Schroder, and the improvements that Payton Pritchard has seemingly made in Summer League.

That said, being that it’s the most important rotation to have stocked in the modern-day NBA, a team should always be looking to bring on more talent, and one player we’ve seen linked to the Boston Celtics in the past would be a dream get for the franchise by means of the Fournier TPE.

Yes, as you can tell by the picture above, the title of this page, and, well, the feature image of this entire article we’re talking about the third-year guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Collin Sexton.

Despite coming off of the best season of his young career, the front office is seemingly still not willing to fully commit to the talented guard and, because of this, he’s been in the trade rumor mill essentially all offseason.

In 2020-21, Sexton went on to post stellar per-game averages of 24.3 points, 4.4 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and a steal on 48 percent shooting from the floor and 37 percent shooting from deep.

Not only would his arrival in Boston give the Cs a talented long-term option at the one, but, at his ripe young age of just 22, he could be a great third building block to develop alongside Tatum and Brown and, in turn, make their future even more promising than it already is.

Viewed as a top-tier option for the Boston Celtics to pursue with the $11 million remaining of the Gordon Hayward TPE earlier this offseason, he easily should warrant consideration with the new Fournier exception.
