Dennis Schroder is now a bucket getting specialist and secondary ball-handler

Dennis Schroder got a lot of criticism last season for his poor performance in the playoffs. Regardless, he will still be a big-time contributor by getting buckets and handling the ball.

The veteran point guard is a very efficient shooter who also excels at setting up his teammates. Whether he comes off the bench or is inserted into the starting lineup, he’ll play a big part in the Celtics’ offense.

He was in the conversation for Sixth Man of the Year just two seasons ago. His scoring and playmaking will be crucial to the success of the Celtics this year.

Josh Richardson could also be a pivotal 3-and-D wing for Boston Celtics

Josh Richardson will play the same role as Aaron Nesmith this season – a 3&D wing. He was traded to the Celtics via the Dallas Mavericks this summer and is bound to get some big-time minutes.

Outside of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, Richardson is the best wing on the team. He could be a starter, but will most likely end up coming off the bench.

His defense has been great ever since his days in Miami, so he just has to work on consistently hitting his threes. If he can do that, he’ll be a crucial part of this team.

Al Horford should be a starting center and mentor

Due to Robert Williams’ injury history, Al Horford could end up being the starting center. If that comes true, he’ll be an important piece for the C’s on both ends of the floor.

Despite his age, Horford is still a super versatile defender. On offense, he is still a great screener who can space the floor for the rest of the team.

Horford will also be able to mentor Williams so he can become the best player he can be. He will be a very important part of Boston’s roster this season, and it’s great to have him back in Boston.
