Veteran target for the Boston Celtics No. 3) Isaiah Thomas

At this point, you may be tired of seeing us write about how Isaiah Thomas would be a great veteran target for the Boston Celtics to pursue this offseason.

Frankly, we’re tired of writing about it.

However, until he signs elsewhere, we’ll continue to pound the proverbial drum for a reunion between the shamrocks and the King of the Fourth.

Last seen logging minutes in the NBA with the New Orleans Pelicans earlier this past season, the point guard did show a bit of rust in his game, however, this was obviously to be expected, as he had not laced them up in the league for over a year prior to inking his 10-day contract with the franchise.

Despite this, however, the man still went on to average 7.7 points, 1.7 assists, and 1.3 rebounds during his time in the Big Easy, with two of these outings seeing him log more than 10 minutes and finished with a +7 and +2, respectively, in the box score.

Most recently, we saw Thomas drop an incredible 81 points in the Crawsover Pro-Am that took place this past Sunday, an exhibition consisting of both current and former NBA players, thus proving even further that he can still hold his own against some of the best in the world to lace them up.

From a skill-set aspect to simply a leadership and morale booster one, bringing back Isaiah Thomas could absolutely wind up benefitting the Boston Celtics in a multitude of ways.
