Boston Celtics: 2 possible veteran point guard additions to pursue

We have all heard about the big names that the Boston Celtics could look to acquire during this off-season. Those are all great options, and I would be thrilled to see our C’s trade for any of those big names.

Whether it be Damian Lillard, Bradley Beal, or Collin Sexton, I am all for the Celtics brass making a serious run at all three big names. Any of them would make the Boston Celtics a clearly better team, and a more legitimate contender in the Eastern Conference.

However, with all of these premier players we have to acknowledge that making a move for them would come with some risks, and would require Brad Stevens to part with some valuable assets possibly even Jaylen Brown.

Point guard is an area of need for the Boston Celtics, and I don’t believe that they can afford to go into next season without adding another point guard. The good news is if Stevens is unable to pull off a deal for any of those three there are still some less splashy lower cost options to consider for the point guard void.
