The Boston Celtics are a team in the early stages of an ever so important offseason.

After securing their worst regular-season record since 2014-15 and being bounced in the first round for the first time since 2015-16, the Cs are looking to make the summer of 2021 an eventful one that’s filled with meaningful moves and much needed organizational shakeups.

Already off to a hot start, what with the resignation of Danny Ainge from his front office duties & Brad Stevens replacing him as President of Basketball Operations, the Kemba Walker trade to Oklahoma City, and the hiring of Ime Udoka as the team’s next Head Coach, Boston looks to be well on its way towards making this team look completely different come the tip-off to 2021-22.

That said, we still have just over three months to go till the start of next season, which means many things can happen between now and October.

As mentioned, Stevens and co. have already shown their willingness to partake in offseason trades, for their first move as a collective was the trade that swapped Walker for a return package centered around Al Horford.

Now, moving forward, many are anticipating that, due to the fact that the front office will not have much cap space available to use in free agency, they’ll look to continue the trading frenzy should they wish to add on any new faces to the roster.

At this point, seemingly everyone not named Jayson Tatum has been listed as a potential trade asset that the Boston Celtics could use in an offseason deal.

Of these players, we believe there are 3, in particular, who should be viewed as the team’s most valuable commodities and, today, we rank each one of them from third to first:
