Potential landing spot for Evan Fournier No. 3) Chicago Bulls

Unlike the other two teams mentioned on this list, the Chicago Bulls should be looking at the upcoming 2021 free agency period with urgency, as the difference between a good offseason and a bad offseason could be what separates the team from keeping their core intact moving forward and completely blowing things up come next summer.

At this year’s deadline, long-time favorite trade target for the Boston Celtics, Nikola Vucevic, wound up being dealt from the Orlando Magic to the Windy City, with the idea of pairing the big man with the likes of their stud guard, Zach LaVine, to form a dynamic duo for the front office to build around.

With this, the franchise has its two All-Star cornerstones in place, with one in charge of the backcourt and one being in charge of the frontcourt.

Moving forward, during the time period between now and the tip-off to next season the Bulls will need to try and figure out a way to fill out the in-between areas within the rotation and, being that they could have up to $37 million in salary space, they could be big players on the open market.

With the fact that they are in obvious need of wing depth, perhaps they could wind up heavily pursuing one of the better available players at his respective position this offseason in Fournier and, should they be hell-bent on acquiring him, could even wind up shelling out a bit more money than the rest of the league’s potential contenders for the veteran sharpshooter.

Not only would he be a nice tertiary scoring option behind LaVine and Vucevic, but his relationship with the star big dates back many years during both of their tenures with the Magic.

This season alone, when running alongside Vucevic in Orlando, Fournier posted stellar per-game averages of 19.7 points on 46 percent shooting overall from the floor.

Add in the fact that, upon the wing’s arrival to Boston, Vucevic had nothing but glowing things to say about his former teammate and it would appear that, should he have the opportunity to play alongside him again, the big could be very much open to it.
