Boston Celtics: Determining the fate of 7 young Cs
By Jack Simone
Payton Pritchard
Grade: A-
Pritchard had a phenomenal rookie season last year. He shot lights out from behind the arc and brought a great intensity to the floor.
With Kemba Walker now gone, Pritchard will act as one of the main ball-handlers for the Boston Celtics next year. His potential as a shooter and playmaker makes him a vital part of next year’s roster.
Boston will need him to take another jump next year, including taking on a larger role within the offense. That being said, barring a blockbuster trade, he will definitely be on the team next year.

Aaron Nesmith
Grade: B+
Aaron Nesmith blossomed into a reliable bench player in the second half of the season. In the month of May, he averaged 8.3 points while shooting 50 percent from the field and 43.5 percent from deep.
His scrappy defense made fans fall in love with him, as he constantly made hustle play after hustle play. That being said, he is one of the most valuable assets on the team.
If the Boston Celtics decided to make a huge trade, the other team would likely ask for Nesmith to be included. For that reason and that reason alone, his place on the team next season could be in question.
