David Duke

David Duke fits into the main need of the Boston Celtics — guard play. At 6-5, he is a solid combo guard that can play either the one or two.

He averaged 16.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists in his final season at Providence. While he didn’t shoot super well from the field (38.7 percent), his 3-point stroke was lights out (38.9 percent).

With Marcus Smart and Payton Pritchard being the two primary point guards going into next season, Duke would add a bit of size to the rotation. His all-around game allows the Cs to use him in a variety of ways.

Max Abmas

Although he may be small (listed at a generous 6-1), Max Abmas would provide an elite scoring threat off the bench for Boston. He made headlines in the March Madness tournament while leading 15-seed Oral Roberts on a Cinderella story run.

He averaged 24.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in his last year in college. He also managed to score super efficiently, shooting 47.8 percent from the field and 43.3 percent from deep.

While his level of competition may have been lower during the regular season, his performance in the tournament showed that he can compete against higher-level talents. He would play a Lou Williams type of role with the Boston Celtics if given the chance to play.
