The Boston Celtics roll the dice with young gun Moses Brown (18 -20 mins)

If both were to stay on the team, expect Brown to get a similar amount of minutes as Thompson. If not, he could end up getting less due to his inexperience.

Brown played 21.4 minutes per game last season for the Thunder. However, once he started playing well during the second half of the season, he was playing 24.7 minutes a game.

However, he had significantly less competition in Oklahoma City than he will have in Boston. With Robert Williams and Al Horford clearly ahead of him in the depth chart, he will have to fight for playing time.

The one advantage Brown possesses is his height. With Luke Kornet and Tacko Fall likely off the roster next season, he will be the tallest center on the roster (7-2).

Boston Celtics fans complained for years about a lack of size at the center position. Well, Brown has exactly that and the potential to grow.

At only 21-years-old, Brown is also the youngest of Boston’s potential center options. He’s a tall, interior presence who could blossom into a quality rotational piece.

There is still an argument that Thompson should be above him in the rotation, and Robert Williams and Al Horford certainly are. Regardless, Brown should be given some solid minutes next season.
