The Boston Celtics go small-ball with Grant Williams (15-20 mins)

As previously mentioned, Williams is a slight exception to this idea. He can spend time at the power forward position but certainly thrives as a small-ball five.

There is a chance he gets traded this offseason, but assuming he doesn’t, this should be around where his minutes lie. He played around 18 minutes a game last season, so a small dip is likely incoming.

After a great rookie season, his numbers improved in terms of efficiency last season. He jumped up 2.5 percent from the field and 12.2 percent from deep.

The one oddity involving Williams is the fact that he plays other positions outside of the center spot. He spends time at the 3 and 4 as well.

Whether or not that is good for his overall game is a different question. The fact is, he will most likely receive more minutes at those other positions than at the five.

That being said, Williams will certainly still compete for minutes with the other four guys in this potential rotation. Outside of Al Horford, he is the only one that can stretch the floor.

At only 22-years-old, he still has plenty of room to grow as well. Depending on the new head coach, Williams could get a decent amount of run next season.
