Well, the NBA draft lottery has come and gone. Some teams got lucky, some teams took a dive, and the Boston Celtics were nowhere to be seen.

Though the Cs had no stakes in this year’s lottery, the results do make things interesting for them moving forward. With certain teams moving up and others staying put, trades could be just around the corner.

The Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers were the most notable teams that got lucky in the lottery. The Cavaliers jumped up to the third pick, while the Raptors jumped up to four.

Meanwhile, the Thunder, Magic, and Timberwolves all saw their picks fall. With the Wolves falling out of the top four, the Golden State Warriors got a second lottery pick in the draft.

All three of these moves could be intriguing from the perspective of the Celtics. The Cavaliers, Raptors, and Warriors are all potential trade partners this offseason.

With Boston trading away Kemba Walker, there is an immediate need for a point guard. On top of that, the team could look to bolster their wing depth in case Evan Fournier decides to leave.

In addition, adding a top prospect to this team could be a sneaky-good move for Boston. This is regarded as one of the best draft classes in recent history, so there will be plenty of talent to choose from.

So, if the three aforementioned teams do decide to make a deal, what would the Boston Celtics have to offer?

More importantly, what would they be able to get in return?
