To the delight of Boston Celtics fans everywhere, the Philadelphia 76ers lost in Game 7 to the Atlanta Hawks. They now find themselves in a weird predicament moving forward.

Ben Simmons played terribly throughout the playoffs, finishing with the worst FT% in NBA postseason history. This leads many to believe the 76ers could look to trade him ahead of next season.

With that in mind, there could be some big moves to be made in Philadelphia. Whether that is trading Simmons or other pieces, the team should look to go in a different direction.

The duo of Joel Embiid and Simmons clearly has not worked out, and the franchise will likely look to split it up. However, what if Embiid is the one that wants to leave?

Obviously, both Embiid and Simmons have expressed nothing but love for the city of Philadelphia. That being said, losing in the first and second rounds has to get frustrating.

Tobias Harris played much better this year than last, but even he might not be safe. If Daryl Morey really wants to put the team in the best position to win, nobody on that roster should be untouchable.

That being said, Brad Stevens should probably look into potential trades with the Sixers. There are some really solid pieces that could help the C’s win.

Now, there should be a clear line when trading for anybody. Trading Jaylen Brown for Ben Simmons would be a downgrade and should not be explored at all.

However, if Stevens could somehow pry Embiid away from Philadelphia, that would be an all-time move. Realistically, though, Stevens would probably target some of the other pieces on the roster.

The idea of a Simmons trade does not sit well with most Boston Celtics fans, but if the price is right, why not consider a move?
