Well, as ironic as it may seem this is what the wheel spit out. The two most talked-about players in trade talks could be headed to Sacramento in the same deal.

The important factors to consider here are salary and longevity of contracts. If the Boston Celtics trade Smart away, they don’t want to take back another expiring deal.

This deal gets pretty wild, but that’s the point of the wheels. The Kings get some better defense pieces, while the C’s reload for the now and the future.

If the Celtics want to get off of Walker’s contract and also get valuable pieces in return, adding young assets and picks will be a must. In this trade, the C’s add one player that helps their future, and two that help right now.

Harrison Barnes was rumored to be a trade target at the deadline. Meanwhile, Buddy Hield would be the sharpshooter many fans said the team needs to put next to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

As for Marvin Bagley III, there have been rumblings that the two might part ways soon. This gives Bagley a fresh start, and Sacramento the picks necessary to replace him.

While the Kings may be hesitant to part ways with Barnes, both Bagley and Hield have been rumored to be unhappy in Sacramento. The team would get somewhat of a fresh start with this trade.

Marcus Smart would help the team’s defense immensely, while also providing backcourt relief for De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton. Meanwhile, Kemba Walker could move to a sixth-man role, giving the team a spark off the bench.

Romeo Langford would be somewhat of a project, but also has the ability to help on the defensive end. The two first-round picks would simply give Sacramento another opportunity to continue their rebuild.
