Boston Celtics reunion we’d like to see #1: Terry Rozier

Terry Rozier has blossomed into a star in the wake of his Cs departure, and it has come at the expense of Boston itself. It was the sign-and-trade for Kemba Walker and his eventual albatross of a deal that allowed Rozier the starting role in the Queen City after being denied as such in Beantown.

It was a shame that Rozier couldn’t follow up his brilliant 2018 postseason with increased usage. Kyrie Irving and Marcus Morris ran the locker room into the ground before they departed themselves for the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks, respectively.

Rozier ended up doubling his scoring output in his first season in Charlotte and became the all-around threat from the lead guard spot Danny Ainge must not have seen in him.

Brad Stevens could make things right by re-acquiring the point guard that he was able to get a postseason hero performance from by doing business with the Hornets front office.

Tristan Thompson and Marcus Smart remain the two most intriguing trade pieces for the Cs due to their expiring deals, so perhaps finding a middle ground on a swap centered on those three is a start.
