A ton of news has already hit Boston Celtics fans this offseason, making it one of the most memorable offseason news cycles in recent memory. And that is before free agency and the NBA Draft have even taken place.
For the first time since 2003, the Cs front office will be run by someone other than former Celtic Danny Ainge. Brad Stevens has moved from the sidelines to the main chair, and he will now be choosing the next head coach while also reshaping the roster in his image after Ainge repeatedly passed up on deals that could have made his job as HC easier.

As the President of Basketball Operations, Stevens will be sending out scouts to hunt for future draft selections, harkening back to his recruiting days as the head coach for Butler.
An NBA role is ultimately a far different puzzle to figure out than forming a college basketball roster, though, considering the short-term and long-term needs of the franchise.
